I know this topic has been done to death but im so fed up of the rain and mud, my two littlies have already turned their starvation patch into a mud bath, and thats in two days  if they continue at this rate the whole paddock will be mud and no grass, doesnt help being so close to the river and therefore the drainage is awful, they arent even out 24/7 its one in one out due to a lami risk pony and an extremely fat barrell like new pony, due more rain tonight, cant move the shelter either so therefore cannot give the mud a chance to drain so to speak, so depressed :(

I know how you feel. Had the farrier out today and it took me ages to scrape the mud off their feet so that they could be shod/trimmed. We put down hard core and mats in the stable area last year at some cost but even that is now turning muddy. I am hoping for colder drier weather soon.

I agree, so fed up with wet weather, muddy fields and muddy horses. It feels like it hasn't stopped raining since last winter! I am so tempted to bring mine in at night just for them to have somewhere dry to stand for a few hours but they really don't like being in doesn't matter how wet it gets. I can not wait for next spring to come and I really hope it is going to be dryer than this year.
