Oh yes, that reminds me, I spent a NYE walking a colicy horse, and one of my friends spent a large part of Xmas day with his - had the vet out 3 times - owch!!

Vet has been and given Ari a shot. Spasmodic, gassy colic -something he ate, obviously. He has done a nice, sensible looking poo, unlike the previous cowpats and is now looking much more comfortable.

Pretty sure we now know what caused it - we found the round bale is rank inside towards one side with mould spores and although what we fed last night was from the other side and looked and smelt fine, I bet it was contaminated. Feel so guilty
