Saw an ad for long Ariat boots, had laces and suede on the outside of the boot down the inside of the calf. Anyone know what they are called? so......want a pair but can't find them again, beginning to think I dreamt it

My friend bought her daughter some of these for showing, after about 4x wears they looked quite shabby and the stitching started to come away on the outside bottom part of the boot where the suede and leather was attached.

My friend took them back to the shop purchased from and got a refund.

Bromonts have the suede down in the inside of the leg and the laces are on the front like a field boot. I'm not sure what you've described are bromonts. Sorry can't be more helpful in identifying the ones you want.

I'd say Bromonts too. Mine have had a few outings and still look lovely. They are long though - I've had to put heel raisers in.

or conistons which lace all the way up the front & have suede on the outside although they do have leather on the inside of the calf

i've just bought some bromonts and yes they do have suade on the inside = smooth leather on the outside

mine do seem v long for me at the mo - what are these heel raisier thingys?!? sounds like i could do with some!

Heel raisers are for if your legs are a bit short, they are a little insole that goes under your heel and gives you a bit of a raise.

Grassmeres do drop, ALOT! I've seen some that have totally collapsed. I've not bought any because they seem to look so scruffy so quickly.
