ariat boots!

Just bought devon pros after my heritages cracked after 11yrs of regular abuse! Couldn't reallyj complain about that! Wld love a pair of bromonts but struggling to justify given I already have 2 pairs of perfectly decent long competition boots.

I am looking at the insulated Bromonts. Had the measurements from Ariat and I only need the regular fit, but am worried they'll be too long. Ariat lady on email said they supply heel inserts and she's sent me some extra, also said they'll drop around half an inch with wear.

Do all of you guys who have Ariat Bromonts have lovely long dressage legs, or are there some normal stumpy people like me who wear them?! ;)
I'm 5'4" :)

I love ariat boots at the the moment I have the insulated short bromonts wonderful I do all the yard work in them and the Devon pros with chaps for riding I don't like the ariat chaps though .

Well worth the money - I've had mine coming up for 4 years I do everything in them and everyone alway comments on how smart they look ... if they bit the dust then I woudn't hesitate to buy another pair !! In fact you'd have to hold me back !!

Definitely. I've got Conistons & Grassmeres & just bought Mum Windermeres for her birthday. I'm now after a pair of Bromonts and Windermeres too!

Are these worth the £200+ they retail at?
Am looking for some decent boots for everyday riding in and really like the look of the H20 boots in brown. However at £200 they are rather alot of money so would be expecting them to last a few years at least! won't be wearing them for mucking out etc, mainly for riding in only :)
I looked at the short ariat boots with gaiters but maybe a bit of a pain getting them off and on again and messing about with the gaiters.
Are there any cheaper alternatives which are just as nice quality?
I have boots and gaiters, it takes no time at all to put them on, but the boots don't last as long as the gaiters, the leather rots down [not the new waterproof ones
], but I think they look smarter, when new and are all the year round wear. I would not forgoe Ariat joddie boots if i were riding professionally.
