Afternoon All,

I've recently got some of the above boots which I am officially in love with!! :)

I'm going to get some care products for them but was wondering which products you use to clean and care for your boots with?

Any help would be appreciated

x

erm clean them ..... erm ?

Lol - mine have stood the test of time being shown a bit of saddle soap and conditioner once a blue moon if I want them to look good, the rest of the time the mud looks after them

If they are the chocolate ones I would get some of the Ariat chocolate boot polish as it matches the colour of the leather, if they are black any decent black polish will do - Kiwi, Cherry Blossom, etc. I use parade gloss black on mine weekly and also spray with a waterproofing spray every 3-4 months :).

lol mine will probably end up this way once the novelty has worn off - thought I'd try to give them a good start in life though mainly to keep the OH happy who paid for them :)

I use mine purely for events. Care-wise, normally its just a wipe over with a baby wipe! If its something special or they've got really muddy then mum will scrub them and put on black leather shoe polish (missing the inside bit obviously). Otherwise, nothing special as such used.

Love that your Mum is your personal boot cleaner maybe I could hire her to do mine :)

I emailed Ariat about this as I wore mine a couple of times for hunting then they looked awful, couldn't get them clean with just washing. Ariat told me to use their Liquid Wax Leather Conditioner. Bought it from Rideaway along with Ariat suede shampoo for the suede bit... clean them off with warm water to get all the mud off, let dry then wipe over the leather bit with the liquid wax and shampoo the suede bit on the calf with the suede stuff (you need to wipe the suede over after). They came up beautifully, actually looked better than when they were new! :)
