I bought a pair of these boots in the brown at olympia 2008. I suffer from rheynauds phenomenon and acrynosis (circulation) an very bad chillblains, this is due to working 6 days a week on a hunting/dealing yard. These boots were fantastic, they kept my feet warm and drry and were very comfortable. Ive tried lots of other boots and at one point had 12 pairs of socks on but these worked. Until after about two months the seam at the bottom of the front lace the goes right across the top of your foot. On the inside of each boot just in from the seam are two identical slices as if cut by a knife. at first they were still waterproof but considering the amount of horse wee that comes in contact, eventuallly they werent. Also the poppers at the top of the zip were too strong! So tough to unpop that i actually pulled the popper itself away from the leather of the boot on both boots. I still have warranty on the boots so they are replacing them but was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? Other than this they were fantastic, elegant. Am not sure whether its with the amount i use and abuse them or whether it was just bad luck with this pair, but if they arent up to coping with extreme work i definatly reccomend them to ppl who perhaps dont work with horses but have horses etc. x

I love mine but had to have two replacement pairs before I was able to leave the house in them, the zips kept breaking.
If you email Ariat they will give you a freepost address to send them back, but if you do send them back clean and polished, otherwise they may say you havent looked after them.

No these zips havent broken on mine yet, theyve lasted the longest of all my boots! And yes iv polished them

I've not had mine long but I love them, they are so warm and now they have dropped a bit they are really comfy. Even happier that I got in at a fantastic price

The popper came off one side of mine recently, they are probably still under warranty as less than a year old but it only cost £2 to get a new popper at local shoe repair shop, so wasn't worth sending them back really. Otherwise very pleased with them, no other problems.

Glad to hear there not dreadful boots! Im having to send mine back due to not being able to wear them as feet getting soaked from the two great big holes! : (
