Hi
Just a quick question (well three),
Does anyone find them too hot in the summer? Is the insulation good enough to wear thin socks in winter? And does the suede on the inside get disgusting really quickly?

Thank you :)

Although I am glad to take them off after a hard-working lesson in mid summer I wouldn't say they were uncomfortably hot. I haven't worn them in cold weather yet but imagine they are quite warm! I have worn mine 5 or 6 times a week since maybe April and the suede looks ok.

HI there,

I do actually find them pretty hot in the summer - can only use them if I take them off between rides, rather than keeping them on for walking around etc. They do seem to be warm enough to be able to use just a thin pair of socks in the winter and, yes, the suede does go smooth!

Love mine and wouldn't be without them!

I wear mine just to ride in...dont want to be trapsing through the mud in them really

They are quite hot in the summer but no unbareable at all
In the winter they are REALLY warm!! well worth it
And the suede is fine on mine had them 2 years now

I dont find them too hot in summer- no different to other long boots that are snug fitting.

They are ACE in winter though- no more numb toes:D

I would highly recommend them......I plan on getting another pair when mine have died, but they always look good with a bit of a clean-up, good enough for the show ring.

Before you do, keep a careful eye on eBay. I've managed to get brand new pairs for my daughter and myself at prices far lower than in the shops - but you have to keep any eye open (or setting up a search that notifies you by email is easy).
