I'm sure there's been a thread about these already, so sorry for a repeat.. but i don't come on here much any more...

Anyway, i've decided to splash out on a pair of these..
i've got them on now (not paid for yet, just trying on, can send them back if they don't fit)...

Around the calf, they really are quite snug.. not leg throbbing snug, but pretty snug.. so just wondering how much they give, if at all?
My calf's do seem to go up and down rather alot in size, depending on the time of the month :( I think they are at their biggest at the mo, in which case these'll be fine.. but if they're at their smallest now, then i'd be buggered!!!

I have a similar problem, but it's only one leg, due to an operation I had!
I bought my Bromonts 'nearly new' on ebay, with the theory that they might have been pre-stretched for me, and they had!

The thing to watch with Bromonts is that the sizing on the charts is the size of the BOOT not the size of leg the boot will take! So if you measure your calf and its smaller than the size chart you shoudl be OK. If, however, it's the same or bigger, then you might find, like I did, that you'll struggle. I bought a pair whch were tight with the intention that they'd stretch and I'd lose weight to get them on. Had them in the cupboard for about 8 months and never did get to wear them other than trying them on every few months in the vain hope they'd suddenly grow hidden in the cupboard. Couldn't get the zip up and no about of stretch would have got them round my chubby calves! Sold them on ebay in the end.

Was a thread I psoted as having some for Christmas, very excited!!! Was advised by someone whos aunt has a tackshop that they should be mega snug initially, ie so tight that it might take two to do the zip up then they'll be perfect after a couple of weeks.

Yes, the insulated ones.. I've had them on for about 2hrs, and still no leg throb.. so i'm thinking they'll be ok :)
can't wait, warm and dry feet!! :)

I think they will be fine. My theory with the Bromonts is that, providing you can actually get the zip up fully, they will always end up stretched enough! Good choice of boots - I love mine to bits and haven't had so much as hiint of cold feet :)

slightly off topic!! these are the most comfortable boots i have ever had soooo warm and cosy i try very very hard to keep them for best (they are lovely) but ihave to say i have snuck into them on the odd long hack, sheeer blissss!!!!! If you can tolerate them they are slightly snug ive had mine a while n i think they give a bit but not as much as the non insulated ones i believe!!

i ahve the non insullated ones and they were v tight to begin with but are fab now - i love them! did need heel raisers though as i'm short :o but they work very well with them ;)
