Tried on a pair of Waxed Brown but right calf measures 36cms and left calf 35cms. Having said that just measured them at home and both 35cm??? Right leg is the full fit and left the standard according to the shop ?? Do they stretch as I am worried that the full fit will be too big after a while. Never had to have the size up before!!

My daughter has a pair of Ariat Bromonts (the insulated ones) and had complained that they have gone baggy on her legs - then she does prefer a tight fitting boot.

Mine were a lovely fit from new, and don't seem to have changed. Unlike the gaiters from Ariat that I have, they seem to stretch a lot, but then they are always tight when I buy them, and skin tight when worn in.

Maybe my boots haven't stretched as much because they were not tight to start with, so did not have my leg stretching naturally?

They do give a bit, I bought mine at Burghley a couple of years ago and was advised by the Ariat rep to buy half a size down as they were a snugger fit.
They are now not that tight.

I had a pair of challenge contours fitted at the weekend (so would assume its a similar principle to the bromonts) and they said to buy a calf width fitting down. I can barely do them up so I'm glad I had them fitted by one of their reps as apparently they do stretch slightly and I would have bought the size up otherwise

Mine stretched a bit - when they were new they used to make my calves tingle they were so tight. Like LittleOwl mine were fitted at the shop - I would definitely have chosen a looser fitting if left to my own devices. They're just about perfect now.
