I have recently purchased a pair of Insulated Bromonts in Chocolate (the old finish not the new waxed ones), which I absolutely love.

I noticed today that the leather on the top of the foot, behind the laces, is peeling off its top layer on both boots, where they crease. Has anyone else had this problem?? I have probably worn them 10 times at most.

Correspond with Ariat - they give excellent customer service. Try searching them on here, I don't think many have a bad word to say.
If there's something wrong with your boots, you can rely on them to fix the problem for you :)

Thanks guys - it hasn't put me off them at all I love them. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem as it seems strange that both boots should go the same way. I will speak to the tack shop I got them from first, if not Ariat. My only concern is that as this is the old style, I might have to have the new ones as replacements and the leather on them is much harder, I much prefer the old style. Will see what happens.

I've certainly not had this problem with mine and I have two pairs. But second the advice to contact Ariat- they will probably send you a prepaid postage label so you can send the boots back and will send a new pair out to you. Customer sevice really is second to none!!
