cant help sorry but i had the same problem with my ariat chaps and long boots they just sort of streachted glad to hear im not they only one who had this problem !!!

Ariat leg wear has elastic inserts that stretch.Retailers are given training to sell the product. Ariat states that when fitting they should be so snug that it takes two people to do them up, and 2 peole to do them up for the first few times as they will stretch (and drop so should be slightly ucomfortable at back of knee)

Chances are they were fitted wrong to start with. But (and not saying you) but can you imagine how hard it is to convince people they should be slightly uncomfortable almost to start with!

Try the close contact from ariat, or if you have lost confidence in them try sergio gaiters.

Smellyellie:In regard to the Ariat boots, do you mean the Bromont tall? they are brilliant boots but the zips have not been brilliant on them. The new seasons (spring 2010) non-insulated have a much tuffer zip. My point being that the retailers were possibly a little generous when fitting to prevent the zip splitting.

P.S Ariat are v.good in respect of problems so if a zip does go- take them back!!

no problem with the zip (yet) but they are only my nice ones so they have not been getting the most amount of wear i have had them taken in once already and they seem to have streached again !! however i will not be going back to ariat as i have had 3 pairs of boots from them in that last year for every day and they all end up splitting or the stiching goes or both !
foreverwandering:if u have stick/bird legs like me try tredstone/step mine have done me very well so far (touching wood)
