At Derby House - just had an email - I dont need any more boots (have a bit of a "boot" issue at the moment) but I know how popular they are so thought I would let you all know. I have bought rug, winter thermal boots and reins in derby house sale though - it seems to be the never ending sale !!

Have fun all !

Do they come up big/small. I usually have Dubarry Wrexfords as they come in wide.

I see these come in wide also, might be tempted !!!

Meesha huge online hugs, thank you for sharing! My old Grasmere's were a gift and have lasted 3 years of being worn to death, and are just about giving up the ghost, so I've been looking for something to replce them with and just couldn't find anything as good that was cheaper. Have been stealing myself to have to pay £200 and delaying the moment as long as possible, result!!!
You are my hero!!!

never tried them myself - just trying to be helpful - if you go to website and search for ariat grasmere 2 come up - one full price one reduced. They do look lovely !

Wow - I thought I'd done well picking up a pair at £150 a couple of months back but this is even better!

I got the marketing email but they haven't got my size. Only got wide fit in a size 5.

I got very excited for a minute :(

They only seem to have wide fitting so too wide for me , now have my eye on the Trent as I like the wrap around idea... anyone have them ?

People that already have these, do they drop much at the ankle? I've tried some on before and they are too long in the leg. If they drop at the ankle and inch or so then i'd be okay after a few times of wearing them.

No narrow or regular in my size (4 1/2), gutted, as my Dublin River boots are not waterproof :0(

Quite fancy their Dakota breeches tho, does anyone know what their fit is like? I'm fairly tall and fairly skinny but with muscley thighs!

very tempted but not sure what width measurement I would need or whether they would be long enough. Anyone who has already got a pair, if I need full width and extra tall in the bromonts what size would I want in the grassmeres? Or would they be irritatingly too short like my dublin river boots and my mountain horse boots?

The regular width are good for calves up to 16" anything bigger and the wider fitting is needed.
Length wise my daughter is 5ft 11" and has long legs and they look perfect on her. Hope this helps

I appear to have purchased a paid ...whoops!

My Tuffa Suffolks are dying a slow death, and mother has muttered that she'd give me £100 for Christmas towards new boots. So here's hoping she comes good on that!

I have 15.5" calves so have gone for the wide fit. I want room for jods and long socks or jeans to tuck in!

My only worry is that I have a wide foot, and I know ariats are normally quite narrow. So I'm hoping the wide fit will have a wide foot space too.

They are very tall for those who asked. I'm 5'3 and they were too tall for me touching my knee cap...they looked really silly on me so decided to go for the shorter and cheaper(!) windermere boots instead....these may be better for fellow shorties!

I'm not that tall 5ft 8" but I have small feet, I would order a 4.5 and smaller foot sizes tend to be shorter in the leg too...... my mountain horse boots are too short really, as are hunter wellies and all fashion boots. Ariat bromonts in extra long are about the only boots that I've ever tried on that have fitted my leg nicely.

Really tempted, but then DH has some of the mens grassmeres (rydals???). Would we look really stupid if we wore them at the same time???? :o

My husband has the Rydal as well. tbh the only time anyone has commented on them was when were bike racing in the Isle of Man and our horsey bright coloured gear and Ariats stuck out a mile amongst the sea of black leather! Anyway, provided we both have warm dry feet I don't care whether people want to comment or not and oh boy do the Grasmere's keep your feet nice and warm and dry.:D

For the poster further up who thought they come up narrow, I have ultrawide feet and don't have a problem with my standard fit Grasmeres:)
