Ariat Grasmere £139 !!!!!!!

mine came and are too big also!.. so if anyone would like them... 5.5 regular :'(

I ordered 2 pairs of 5.5 reg, one for daughter, one for a friend (she is paying), both are a small 6 normally.

1 pair says despatched, the other awaiting. What colour are yours? I may be interested if they don't have the second pair for some reason.

Ordered mine on Thursday, turned up this morning. They are a much tighter fit than my Dublin Pinnacles! No need for long socks. Is it normal for them to be so tight in the calf? I got the regular size. I don't have large calfs. The Pinnacles are huge in comparison!

I ordered a pair in brown 4.5 wide on Thurday lunchtime and mine arrived the very next morning (9am). They were too big though (in the foot, and also in length - kept digging into the back of my knee when I tried walking in them.) I sent that pair back the same day for a refund and ordered a pair in size 4 instead. I'm hoping these will fit better and that any chaffing behind my knee will improve as I wear them in (fingers crossed)! Maybe I'll need a size 3.5 but here's hoping not as it's costing me £13 for every return I have to make!

Mine arrived on Tuesday, a wide 5.
The leg parts are absolutely fine, even have room to pull the laces in but the foot part is very snug (I did in fact have quite a struggle to get my foot down into them but I wasn't going to be beaten!) I'm only ever going to be able to wear thin socks with them. I'm normally a normal size 5 but the AG's seem almost like a half size or more less.

The sizing is a bit odd compared with my other Ariats, (I have wide feet from being squashed by various horses, narrow ankles & std calfs)
In the brossard, I'm a 5.5 regular
In the laced TellUride's I'm a std 5.5
In the Bromont, I'm a 5.5 regular
In the Grassmeres I'm apparently a 6.5 regular - the 5.5's & 6's were too narrow in the foot arch for me - tried several on in local tackshop to check

Got mine yesterday, but was in North London so wore them today. They are slightly wide, but not stupidly so and with thick winter socks I'll need that slack! Aesthetically I think I do prefer the pinnacles, but the quality difference is noticeable. I have Raynauds and also a subluxating cuboid, so am ultra fussy. With the pinnacles I have to wear special inserts to support the cuboid. With the ariats I didn't need them. I felt ultra supported. The other thing I noticed was riding position. They stuck to the stirrup tread like glue and I had no cuboid trouble for the whole ride. It's really obvious that the steel shank does something! So, jury is out on the looks, but polish will darken them anyway and so far am impressed with performance. Oh and my feet weren't cold!! I cannot stress how unusual this is for a Raynauds sufferer! They didn't magically heat up, but they stayed comfortable and I was wearing normal socks. :)

Weird I need a 5 in Bromonts a 4.5 was fine in the grassmeres and a 4.5 is fine in the short lace up boots but I can fasten the zip ups at all. I need a wide leg in the bromont, but found a wide grassmere a bit too wide.

I bought my daughter a pair and I've now been told they're not in stock and I'm getting a refund instead - wish I'd not told her now! So if anyone has a pair of 6.5's they want to sell...

To all those who weren't lucky enough to get boots in this deal, I have just had an email from Tower Farm Saddlers advertising the same deal :D

They are based in Rugby and Earls Barton but might have mail order
