Ariat Grasmere Boots - sizing?

Lovely family have given me money for Xmas....just been nosing at different sites with some good bargains on Ariat Grasmere boots.

To those who've got them: how do you find the sizing compared to your normal shoe/boot size? Obviously it's different if i can go and try them on to buy, but as I may buy online I thought it might be an idea to check sizing!

Why don't you try them on in a shop then buy them online? Better safe then sorry!

I was hoping to avoid the shops at all costs if possible! Just bought a load of sale clothes on line so I don't have to go into town.

I normally wear a 6 but got 5.5 in these boots. And still enough room for thick socks. Hope that helps

I usually wear an 8 but have a 7 1/2 in mine and they're not at all tight.

Where have you found the best prices? I am also looking at buying some Grasmeres.

TDS saddlers aren't too bad. Ebay is extortionate. Also looked on Rideaway which seemed pretty good.

Ariat are REALLY generous with its sizing, in all my ariat boots i have size 4 where as in normal life i am a size 5... do you own any othr ariat boots..? if you cant find the grasmeres go and try any other boots with the same sole... i think 4LR and see what size you are! (generaly we find (i work in a shop that sells ariats) that people go down at least 1/2 a size)

Have to admit now....I have spent most of the money I had for Xmas on new clothes and new rugs today!

I decided that I have a perfectly good pair of wellies, and a perfectly good pair of long leather (nearly new!) riding boots, so the money was better spent elsewhere
