does anybody have them?
my bf bought me a pair yesterday at the yorshire show....
it was either the dubarrys or the ariats.....chose the ariats cos they are longer in the leg than the dubarrys...
they are so comfy! i rode in them last nite and have done this morning....
does anybody have anything to say about them? gud or bad?

Love them, Love them, Love them, best boots ever, although they are quite soft leather so make sure you keep the leather clean, fed and waterproofed. But OMG they are just soooooo Lush.

As you can probably tell I have a pair and absolutely love them!

I got a pair this year as well and I love them. I use them for around the yard and hacking (not used them in a lesson yet) and while out walking the dogs. I could walk for miles in them.

I was also looking at Dubarrys, but like the fact you can change the width of the Ariats.

Also made sure to buy good leather and suede care stuff so that they last!

ooh im glad other people love them as much as me!
what leather care stuff do u use on them?
i was going to ka-cho-line (sp?) them tonite, and then keep them very clean and use saddle soap on them?
and polish them every so often?
would that be ok?

oooh and i love the checked lining in them? what colour are urs? i got the brown ones!

As soon as my legs are thin enough, I'm treating myself to a pair of Grasmeres. A lady at my yard has them, and she swears by them. I think they look absolutely amazing and i am dying to have some.

sorry to be the odd one out but i dont really like mine, for everyday riding that is, They are a pain. Ive gone back to my wll worn performer pro boots with chaps! I did love them at first, ( had them about 3 months ago but they are awkard to pull on. Would have bought dubarry as you get them made to measure.

Was even going consider putting them on ebay!!

Sorry, glad you like yours but i am a pain and fussy

oooh i didnt realise u could get dubarrys made to measure! i still love mine but can imagine that pulling the lacing up all the time will be a bit of a pain.

Snap !

Loved mine to start with, but the leather is very soft - no support and bagged around ankles after a few weeks of wear. The constant lacing and unlacing is annoying after a while

Sold mine on Adtrader and now have Dubarrys
