Ariat grasmere sizing (the 2013 version..)

Hi all.

So I'm looking to buy a pair of Ariat grasmeres but cannot decide which size to get. I was measured as a 5.5 yesterday by a shoe shop so I know that much. However, apparently there is an updated version of these boots that are being sold in 2013, instead of the old ones (?)

So my question is to anyone that's bought a pair of these boots in 2013 - Do they come a little bigger than the average sizing or a little smaller? I can't decide whether to get a size 5 or size 6. A family member has a size 6 of the old version and I've tried them on and they're a bit too big. But I'm not sure how it will be with the new version?

Sorry if none of this makes sense! Feeling very flustered and rather stressed as I have very little time to buy them, only tonight.

Oh and I cannot go and try them at a shop, otherwise I would do that!

Haven't bought a 2013 pair, but it's fairly widely known that ariat are generous, our ariat rep always tells us to go down half a size, so would think a 5 would suit u fine
