Need some new boots and am pretty set on getting the Ariat Grasmere's.
Do people think they are worth the money?
Also I've seen the old style on sale for £200 rather than £250 for the new ones, I actually prefer the look of the old but don't know whether they'd be problems returning them if they broke??

How do the sizes come up? I'm 5'3.....will they b too tall for me? And have narrow size 4 feet, will they b ok?

Any experiences!

i absolutely love mine and yes they have been well worth the money. highly reccommend them, comfy, warm, great support for my rather prone to twisting ankle....and they look great too. like any decent leather boots, decent care goes a long way. cant really help with size, best to go try some on

Definitely worth the dosh, I love mine. They are quite generous in size I think, mine fit like slippers now but I still love them. I guess you need someone with size 4 ones to measure the height of them to see if they're too long in the leg for you. Mine are size 8 so might be a different height I guess.

I had some and the lining at the back of the foot tore really easily. I had so much trouble getting them on without half the lining ending up underneath my foot, that I sold them on eBay :-(

Love mine! Only tiny thing i personally struggled with was keeping the suedy (sp!) clean so am gonna look at the Glaciers next time as they look totally wipeable :D

I don't use mine for being horsey, but I still love them and wish I needed another pair of horsey boots as I'd buy a second pair!

Well worth it.

gahhh I posted about this yesterday. I tried some on that were £175 in size 4.5. They felt like they would be really comfy just a bit loose at the back. However today I tried a four on in a different shop to compare and they were really too tight. You need room for thick socks in the winter i find.

Im regretting not getting them so so much. So if your a 4 you might want to go down half a size. I normally go down a whole size in riding boots but ariat seem a more truer fit.

Also im only 5ft 2 and found they were fine on the leg. I did squats to see if they would catch when trotting and they were ok.

why have i passed up getting them :( such a numpty
