They do tend to come up a size big. I'm a size 7 which is the size i bought and they were quite big new. I've had them for about 6 months and now they've broken in and the leather is softer, they're even looser and rub the backs of my heels. I can't wear them without plasters now

I'm normally a size 5 and my grassmeres are a 4 1/2.

Thanks for the tip of on foot size I've called them and swapped to a smaller size- phew!
