If you mean the Bromonts, I also have a pair. For 165 they are good value, very very comfortable and put my leg in a good position. I'm thinking about getting a second pair to keep for competitions!
I have a pair opf Ariate H2O'2 (short ones with laces). They seem good enough. I live and owrk in mine. Had them for a few months and had no problems with them. Not the most atracive boots in the world. If you are buying a pair though, make sure you go and try some on because I bought a whole size smaller than what I usually do and they're still roomy!
Well it's leather around the bottom of the boot, so only suede from above your ankle, mine haven't really got that dirty but I guess it would be the same as the suede half chaps?? They need a bit of a brush to clean them up.
I'm currently trying to work out if they would be neat enough to use at comp's and haven't decided yet. They certainly aren't as bulky as the mountain horse ones but then not as sleek as the normal leather boots...
Thanks Ifield. Id say they would be alright at competitions, I have a pair of the MH stirrup control whatsits that I am saving for competitions so was looking for a smart replacement for everyday riding. I guess grooming my horse would help keep the suedy bit clean
