Ariat Telluride sizing

Hi all, apologies for very boring question but I know some of you on here wear the Ariat Telluride short boots and I wondered if you could help me with sizing. I want to buy a pair online and I remember when I bought my last pair they were not my normal 5.5 size..I think I needed to drop down a size but I can't remember! Its the lace up ones rather than the zip style.

The size has rubbed off my old battered pair sadly....such good boots but for winter I need a pair with fewer leaks..

The lace up Tellurides are defo on the generous size for fitting.

The zip front Tellurides are a neater snugger fit, and are much easier to fit half chaps over if that’s relevant .

Mine (lace up) are the same size as my grasmeres, extreme H20s and devon nitros.

I always buy the same size as I wear in other shoes normally. I do usually wear thicker walking type socks with them.

I have lace up Tellurides in size 5 (my size in most shoe brands). I could comfortably go down half a size for a better fit. If I need to buy again, I would buy the 4.5 instead.

I am a size 6 and have bought both the size 6 and 5.5 of the lace ups, they are generous on size but I like to wear thick socks

I always have the zip ones and I have had both 6 and the 5.5, I am a 6 in most other footwear. Personally I prefer the more snug fit of the 5.5 they just feel more supportive and they do give quite a bit during wear.

I have the zip ones, a size down from my normal size - I find all Ariat boots come up large.
