Ariat volant or stick with Bromont?

Anyone have the Volant's (tall boot)? want a pair for everyday schooling and wondering whether they are worth the extra 100 quid over the Bromonts. And if anyone does have them (or tried them) did you prefer the front or back zip. I haven't seen any in the flesh so I am trying to go on the pics. Front look great off but not so good on and the backs seem to be the other way round if that makes sense. Nearest stockist seems to be Hope Valley but that is 90 min drive and I just can't justify the time!
 
I haven't got the tall boots but have the Volant Fusion short boots and chaps and love them, the chaps velcro onto the boots so really comfy and more like a long boot but not as restrictive.
 
I have the front zip volants, bromonts and back zip volants are baggy and saggy around my ankles but the front zips fit like a glove :)
 
Thanks for the replies. Wheels that was just the sort of info i was after. Do you rate the Volants over your Bromonts or are they just too different to compare?
