Ariat Windermere

Hello,

I have a pair of Dubarrys that I've had and loved for seven years, but they are coming to the end of their life and I'm looking for something to replace them. I have a pair of wool lined Tuffa Suffolks for winter, so I'm not looking for supreme warmth, and I'm thinking of the Windermeres- does anyone have these? Also, what's the sizing like? My Dubarrys are 7.5 but my Hunters and an 8...what size would I be?

Yes I've had them, they didn't last long but they were quite comfortable. I wreck boots continuously so the fact they didn't last long isn't indicitive of the boot! I'm not sure my opinion will be helpful for you though as I HATE Dubarrys with a passion, I'm on my 4th pair & none have lasted more than 6 months ( I haven't bought them all, some have been replaced by Dubarry btw ). I did however buy my latest pair so went for the Clare in the hope they'd last a bit longer but they started leaking on their 4th wear - I think I must have very sweaty feet!

I would chose the Windermere over Dubarrys every time but if I had a choice though I'd have the Grasmere, lovely boot and more 'quality' than the Windermere.

I can't help with the sizing because my Hunters & Dubarrys are the same size - I find them small though as I'm a size 4 in everything including Ariat but a 5 in Hunter & Dubarry.
