Any good?
Im trying to prepare myself for the soon approaching winter!! :(
Has anybody had any experience with these or should I just fork out for some dubarrys?
:D

They do look nice and ariat are generally very good qaulity, just wanted to know of any first hand experience. Whilst it would be really lovley to get some dubarrys I could really do with saving my pennies x

I have just brought some Toggi Canyon boots for the winter.
Didn't have a lot of pennies and found them for under eighty pounds. :D

I have some! they are gorgeous, comfy and very warm :) I didn't have to break mine in they were comfy from the word go. A friend and fellow groom has a pair of Dubarry's she has had them 7 months and they are starting to wear out - a bit quick for the money they cost IMO

Love ariats, I have the bromonts, and my sister has the grassmeres, but now we are trying to persuade mum to get some windermeres ;). The best bit is we're all the same shoe size. I tend to find that I get painfully cold feet in the winter and my ariats are they only thing to have kept them warm and dry. Plus they are the most comfiest (sp) shoes I think I have ever worn. :)

I have heard that although dubarry's look the part, the new stock just isn't lasting. Although I would love some just to wear as everyday boots, however not at that price :p.

Ariat windermere's are lovely, I had Dubarry's and after 3 months the soles started to come away from general use (not mucking out etc) I bought a pair of windermeres, much mroe comfy for wider calfs, hard wearing and 8 months down the line are still going strong.
Would HIGHLY recommend them.
