Ariat zip replacement...

A while ago my JR, chewed the top of the zip on my Ariat coniston!!

I never got round to getting them fixed, but have recently tried to get them fixed without success.

Does anybody know of anywhere that can fit a new waterproof zip?
I, well my mum, has contacted ariat directly, but they said they don't have the facilities to fix it. (Or something along those lines) So I am stuck with a £200 pair of boots that aren't usable!

Any help appreciated

I got sent some replacement zips fromm ariat who told me they wouldnt do them which i wasnt suprised.

I will be taking them to the cobblers in town to see if they can fix them.

In a very same situation as the boots cost me £180 so i dont want to just buy a new pair which is what ariat suggested lol.

Try your local saddler. I took a Bromont to my saddler as the press stud but that goes across the zip was coming away and they restitched it for me. I seem to remember they also put a zip in a pair of Gibbons chaps for me too many years ago. This is a saddler who repairs/restuffs saddles and I think make their own bridles etc.
