Arm Bands In Showing

Hi, I've seen a few people with coloured arm bands on when showing but I don't know what they are. I know the tail ribbons and was wondering if they're the same but just on the arm?

At some shows it is to show the judge that you are eligable to qualify for a certain championship .

Yes this ^^

they can signify a local member, a home produced pony, a junior rider, a veteren pony, an amateur rider etc etc ie either a prize for a certain category within the class or as above eligibility to go on to one of the various championships at a show
