has any one been to any of the ARMY EQUITATION ASSOCIATION centers

i am wondering if there are any people on here that rides there and
if they are different from a normal yard ( eg,, less toxic ,,poo picked up ect.)

i found out there is one close to me and i am considering going there to see

it seams good value
£15 - 30 minute
£30- 1 hour lesson

Like all yards, depends on the management. A lot of their services offered will be subsidised but check you're eligible. My local saddle club used to only be for military personnel, families, or a military link with proof, they have now opened to everyone.

Depending on where you are too will have some say in quality of lessons and horses - Bovington is a stage 4 centre and caters for the cavalry, Thorney is far more basic and is used as a Battleback therapy centre first, riding establishment second.

Not all are open to civilians, the rates you are seeing may well be discounted rates to military personnel. Most have higher rates for civilians members if they are open. They’re also all different with different amounts of funding so it’s hard to say without knowing which one
