arnica gel/cream

can you use arnica gel for horses on humans?
I fell off on a hack on th 18th and had to see osteo about it. He said i had damaged my bicep and it has gone lumpy due to little tears and also had a heamatoma on my first rib. Went back yesterday and bicep injury still not healed and the heamatoma still hasnt, and he found more 'lumps' on another muscle behind it. There are also other places where i am still bruised and he told me to use arnica on those to. The tube we have bought in the shop is definatley not going to last very long lol. On the brightside my mum has tp do the mucking out as its to maual but i can to liht amounts of riding

Yep - done it loads of times and haven't keeled over yet! Its herbal so suitable for all. I've used supposed 'human' arnica gel on my horse too.

i love the arnica tablet thingys but never had to use it in a different form until now lol. I read on a tub that it said not for use on humans so was a bit confused!

I have witch hazel & arnica gel for my horse. I came off and landed on my coxycs (sp?) last year and smoothered my back on the stuff and never did me any harm!

I use both the arnica tablets and the cream for both myself, the horses and dogs! For best results use the tablets and cream/gel together. The tablets will certainly help the bruising unside to get better quicker.
