I know arnica is v good for bruising and am using a gel externally at the moment on my boy. However from reading various posts I see that this can also be administered orally.

Can anyone tell me where I can get this from and how to administer - dosage etc?

Many thanks

hi you need to get the 200cc which is not available in chemist try galen homoepathics they will deliver next day i would give one tablet a day for a few days. u cannot touch them or give them with feed so i hook over bottom lip they dissolve quickly also don't feed polos while using them!

Potency depends on why you require it.
30c preventative or long standing cases, 200c or 10M for more acute & chronic cases. In these instances give on squirt (if liquid) or one tablet every 5min if just happened for half an hour & reduce as time goes on. If injury as been done a while ago then 1 tab/squirt twice a day.
Crossgates delivere the next & will advice if any other remedies my be benificial.
If the skin is broken the Arnica should not be put directly onto broken skin. Hypericum & Calendula are great for healing & staphisagria for cut skin knits it back together quickly so must be clean as to not seal infection in.

Is arnica any good for scars? I have one on my forehead from a car accident years ago, I've tried those gel stick-on things to make it go, also the liquid gel stuff, but it's still pink in colour and I want to make it invisible!

Arnica is not for scars Silica is for helping to reduce scar formation. Depends how old it is. I would use a cream directly onto the scar rather than internally for something like that.
Bio Oil I have heard is very good for scar, stretch marks & the likes. May be worth a try or looking up just incase?

I have used silica with great success for scarring, especially scars with 'lumps'. It does take time to work. Its an excellent remedy for any sort of foreign body and expelled a bit of gravel that was embedded in my face, it had calloused over, for over 30 years!

I heard just recently that you have to be careful with silica as not only will it get rid of foreign objects like Spaniel said but also the foreign objects we want. Such as fillings, pins & plates & even pace makers. No you dont want one of them coming out.
Though sayting this I have used silica plenty of times on myself & my filling has stayed where it should be! So how true that regards is I dont know??? Like I said it is worth a short as you are more self concious of your scar then other people will be I am suer but what we can do to boost or confidence is worth it!

Yes I should have mentioned that! I have pins bits of metal in my jaw holding my teeth in and I have had to be careful with the doseage!!!

Dont self medicate with silica if you are in any way bionic!!
