Aromatherapy for horses

Hi, I am hoping someone here will be able to help. Which essential oils would be beneficial for a horse that is depressed to choose from. My friends horse has some health issues that seem to be making her very low and I am hoping that some oils may be able to lift her mood. before anyone asks, she is under the vet for the issues. Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of cheap adulterated oils on the internet, and the proper ones aren't cheap. I practice aromatherapy massage, but use oils to treat my horses, but more for injuries.

When using aromatherapy oils with horses, you need to allow them to self select. they'll choose the ones that they want.

I'd be interested to hear if they like/find relaxing horse-edible type smells, e.g. mint, as associated with happy events or if they find them annoying as no actual treat involved?
