The vet came out yesterday to give Charlie a B12 injection and said that I can't ride him for at least 4 weeks, possibly longer depending on if the injection helps or not! Originally I was told I could gently hack him

It's so typical, the summer Holidays start on Friday and my working hours will be increased, as part of my job I have to ride with the Children, now I will have to walk along with them on foot instead! We had lots of Picnic rides, fun rides etc planned as well

I am glad it's nothing serious but am just feeling a bit sorry for myself

That's really bad luck. My horse was off work for a few weeks recently and I was lost without her.

I hope someone is able to lend you one in the meantime.

Plus I think I would have difficulty taking her off the Little Jockey

I can lend the roller skates- gotta be better than walking but I did think LJ might be a problem you might have to beat her off!
