Yes it's been an absolute b*****x for me for the past few days, and what with the BBC changing its schedules willy nilly, I've been watching mostly online (which keeps cutting me off at crucial moments
)
At least online you don't have to put up with listening to Mike Tucker wittering on and making stupid remarks
I'm surprised Ian Stark didn't bop him on the nose
I do wish they'd bring back Lucinda Green, who always had such sensible interesting and astute comments. ALways felt I'd actually learnt something I might otherwise not have found out with her. MT tries hard but does witter on endlessly stating the b........g obvious and in the end I hardly listen. I could forgive him his mistakes on the XC as I think he was commentating on what the tv people chose to show, but he got himself in a muddle far too often in the SJ which must have been in front of him! I do wish he'd stop saying "preformance" grrr!
I had loads of problems with BBCi , but discovered channel 301 too .
I don't mind Mike Tucker at all & was surprised to find that I also liked Ian Stark's comments , as I was never that keen on him as a rider ( I can feel the lynch mob out to get me )
I would like MT to stop saying ' It's nip & tuck ' - sounds like surgery !
Agree , bring back Lucinda & whatever happened to Lorna Clarke ? She ( LC ) could be a bit cutting in her remarks though . Maybe , she was considered too posh in accent as I read that is why Lucinda was dropped by the BBC ( how true that is I don't know . )
