Just interested to hear of anyone who has used this, good or bad. Which joint did you inject and what other treatment had you tried. Have been advised to try in a stifle joint but am aware it is usually used on fetlocks or knees. How much was injected. Have been advised it may or may not work, (takes 6 weeks for the gel to work and longer to integrate properly) so any useful advice/tips would be helpful including aftercare. Would you do anything differently. Thank you.

Yes I used it on a horses hind pastern joint which had severe ring bone.
Prior to that he had a steroid injection which worked for a few weeks and Arthramid was his last chance. He had it done twice but he was too far gone.
Sadly it didn’t work at all.

We tried it on Fatties stifle ,sadly although it did make him sounder he was never sound enough for proper work .
However we where four years down the road with fatties injury this drug was not around when he was first injured .
I would certainly try it again it’s got good results behind it .

Thank you both. Its the only option left for a 7 yr old so if it helps to keep him field sound for as long as possible that would be something.

I have used it for coffin joint issues. Early on in the diagnosis. We did a steroid shot, then a year later before the insurance ran out we used the Arthramid. I am pleased with the result. It generally lasts longer than steroids if it is successful and works, I would use again.

It certainly improved fatties comfort levels he would have been fine for hacking but never came sound enough for hunting .
He’s retired and although we give him Bute sometimes he’s fine as long as he does not gallop and buck to much .
