What are the best supplements for arthritis?

My friends daughters pony has been seen by the vet and they are pretty sure he has arthritis, but will also be nerve blocking him.

He is currently on 1 sachet of Danilon twice a day but they have said a supplement may help. We have been reccommended Supaflex and Devils Claw by a friend whos mare also has arthritis.

He is 19, has previously done quite a lot of jumping with past owners but is now used for hacking/local showing/fun rides

cider vinegar and micronised linseed, and wearing magnetic boots seem to work best for my daughters mare. we have tried a few different supplements but this seem the most succesful. i know people who feed devils claw and swear by it.

it trial and error really but you need to give them at least 6 wks on a new product to see how effective it is

I used with success devils claw root powder and then tried both of these one after the other and they worked a treat, Suppleaze is a bit cheaper

Suppleaze Gold
Riaflex HA

made a massive difference where bute hadn't, the effects showed in about 2/3 days. This was old horse with arthritis in his knees, he was struggling but on the supplement was like a youngster

Blue chip made a difference for my 35y/o. She was never severely arthritic, but we noticed an improvement. Plus it helped keep weight on her!
