Arthritis..

Turmeric, freshly ground black pepper and oil of some sort.

I've started this with my oldie (37) since people on here recommended it, and I have to say there is an improvement. He'll never be perfect at his age, but he is definitely moving better.

If you're on Facebook there is a user group that may be able to help. I admit I guessed a bit at how much to give based on what was on other threads here, but it is working.

Oh fab. She's only got it mildly. She's only 15 and is still competing at 75/85cm well so just want something to help :) previous owner had her on something pretty expensive!

My gelding has bilateral hock arthritis and is now on a bespoke joint/AI supplement from Hack Up Bespoke. He is now the soundest he has been since diagnosis and I can't rate it highly enough. We took part in a fun ride for cancer research back in September and he jogged the whole way 😏 The supplement is formulated based on the individual horse's needs. It also is not that expensive, at around £56 for a 3 month supply.

Another vote for Tumeric, doseage is 1 tsp Tumeric, 8 twists of black pepper and a form of oil, I give my 20+yr old mare it in sarnie form, the margarine being the oil factor, she is now back happy hacking and bute free for the last two yrs, because there was such an improvement in my mare, I tried Tumeric, within a month my arthritis had improved so much, I could tack up and ride my own horses and didn't need to be helped off a horse, can't recomend Tumeric enough, with both myself and my mare, the difference in us is amazing, the mare was on her last summer and I just felt useless, you have NOTHING to lose by trying it
