Hi all,
I don't venture in here often but I'm looking for some advice.
Our 8yo rescue dog has arthritus in both hips, he is on Metacam & Tramidol. He gets codliver oil but I'm after a good arthritus supplement too. So looking for some reccomendations.
We think he is some sort of lab/GS or rottie mix, we got him at 9 months old & he had already had a hard life and had clearly been on the end of a kicking from some delightful dreg of society.
From a horsey point of view I know that Cortaflex & Nupafeed both do dog supplements, Cortaflex being more chondroitin/GSM & HA orientated & Nupafeed green lipped mussel.
Also there was an article in the vet section our local paper about a human supplement called Seatone(I think), another GLM based product, but I'm obviously wary of feeding human medication to dogs.
So what do I need to look for/avoid?
Any ideas/advice appreciated.
