Poor big Pete, our reserved Burmese has no been diagnosed with bad arthritus - We'd really like to make things as comfortable as poss for him. He has his own radiator bed which he won't move off, and he is on an anti inflammatory, but it has nasty side affects so we are going on trial to see how he does with it.
Any supplements or anything to ease the pain that you guys can reccomend much appreciated - He's come back from the vets sore and depressed after they poked an prodded him around (under anaesthetic (sp?) as it was the only safe thing to do if the vets wanted to come out alive!)
Just want to make him comfortable, so any tips/products much appreciated.

Thanks

Big Pete looks lovely. I used cortaflex for my older dog to keep his joints supple and it did the job. At one stage. when it got really bad he was given anti-inflammatory tablets and the side effects were not good - made him wee for England!! I would give the cortaflex a go.

When my old dog got really arthritic, she was put on Metacam. It did wonders for her. It isn't licensed for cats yet, but my OH's Mums cat is on it for her arthritis. She had to sign a special form at the vets, but so far, has had no side effects. She has been on it about a year I think.
