As promised pic's of my GSD that I needed to get weight on

Hi All

For all of you that helped me with suggestions for putting weight on my girl here are some pics of her

her weight is 26kg and she's 14 months old - I have started feeding her RAW so will keep you updated on how things go.

I had to include a pic of her and her brother too as he is just so handsome

he doesnt have a weight problem, well he does a bit but at the other end of the scale to her

P.s sorry if they're huge i'm a newbie to this posting pic's lark!

I haven't read your previous post but just wanted to say that my Xara looked really skinny when she was about a year or so, I used to get people come up to me & say she needs some meat on her which at the time was quite hurtful, I got really paranoid about it thinking people assumed I wasn't caring for her properly which was so not the case. It didn't matter what I fed her she didn't put weight on, I eventually rang breeder who told me to ignore people and that Xara was going through her gangly stage & it's quite normal. She's now 2 and looks very well.

I remember when you were worried about Xara Nijinsky, there is no doubt they go through a lanky stage. Auntie S your bitch is gorgeous, and her weight looks fine to me. I bet you will find she will fill out and muscle up over the next few months and you will wonder why you were worrying. Hope the raw diet works for her. Keep us updated.

she is young and all GSD go through a lanky stage they take abit to grow.

B was a right rake at that age too, but has filled out nicely.

Hi All

I just want to say thank you for all your lovely comments about Saffie and I feel very re-assured now about how she is

Feeding her raw is going really well, so far she has had just chicken - wings, legs, thighs anything I can find! she has tucked in well without any hesitation but is still finding room to munch on biscuits during the day so I guess I'm not feeding her quite enough yet....

I'm sure I'll have some more questions along the way but just really wanted to thank everyone for your help and kind words

Arhhhh another Saffy, she's beautiful

and what a brilliant age too....if my Saffie looks anything like that and makes it to nearly that age I will be really pleased
