For Gazey who ill be in bed now.
My eary post earlier re my 17 year olld whippey x grey (Bray)
I got her when she was about 5 months, I was fostering for the RSPCA in the 6 weeks hols from school, she had 2 broken legs...she was rehomed when he legs healed and was returned
She was about 12 months old here.....she was recovered and became a kennel dog..but she broke out on fire work night and was a house dog from then on
This is bray with my first pure whippet jodies, she broke her pelvis running off the racing track and onto the road, and she was going to be put to sleep, mam brought her home and she stayed
EXCUSE DECOR, me and OH where very young, about 12 years ago, we moved into together young

Bray and misty............... misty was my first ever dog she was a border collie, the only 1 in the litter that was not black and white and was going to be drown....so I took her, she was about 14 in that pic, bray has seen alot of dogs pass b4 her
FOR MM AND CAVEY
My mams rescue shepherd the black long coat shera(passed now) this pic was well over 10 years ago was a bit of a meanie with other dogs when she first came, with 2 other rescues skippy kangaroo x shep
and harry colli x
EBONY, mam again brought her home as she had a grade 5 heart murmur, she was about 6 months in that pic she died of heart failure aged 5....she was a character and a half, again pic well over 10 years old
EBS was always dreaming of ways to get into the rabbit hutch
FERN , another shepherd me mam kept she only died about 2 years ago, aged 13, she was sweet as pie, she was about 6 months here

MY FIRST WHIPPEY JODIE AND WHIP X GREY BEN (very special boy, I bought him for £10 (bargain)
, he was bought by a young gonk from thelocal mart thinking he was a bitch
when he realised he had male genitalia, he wanted rid....I hid him in my bedroom for 3 weeks b4 he was discovered
I lost him about 10 years ago aged 8 to a brain tumour
Him and jodie lived on my bed, I was only about 13-14

KEANE saluki x greyhound, she was OH lurcher, he used to work them, we lost her about 6 years ago
BUNTY deerhound...OH bought her for cheap and she had puppies 3 days later
, he was about 21 at the time, my mam came to the rescue, we kept 2 (dont want a debate again) we watched them birth.......OH kept Kai our deerhound, who is now nearly 14

not what u would expect a puppy deerhound to look like, he was smooth haired, about 8 weeks here....huge boy even then, 14 years ago
KAI(about 8 months old with OH.......he was young, don't laugh
SOMETHING DIFFERENT.......a horse we rescued, he had been left at the livery yard and was going to slaughter to recoup costs for livery.....mam was on a call with the vet, and she brought him home

He was a cheeky boy, he was only about 3, dont know his breed, but he was humungus
he eventually went ot a horse sanctuary

JAKE, OH's first dog he was not very dog wise b4 he met me
, he got him when he was 14 years old and jake was 5 weeks old
, he got distemper and parvo (days when vaxes where not the done thing), he survived and lived till he was 16....a proper lurcher
