my horse hasnt been wormed for a while due to worm count and vet advice (amongst other reasons to long list to mention)but caught her rubbing her bum on wall yesturday could just be an itchy tail but i know this can be a sign of worms not that she looks wormy but thought i would pick a wormer up from feed place as i was going there any way. gets there and they cant sell me one as there isnt a qualified member of staff cant believe this as its a big feed superstore but any way thought id get one from internet but there so many so now am confused!! which one would you get??

I get all my wormers from Hyperdrug off the internet. They are the cheapest around and they have free postage and packaging! They have a variety of ones and info on how to sort a worming program for your horse. Delivery is fast and has always come the next or two days later. the link is web page

Ps hope the link comes up bit rubbish at this!! if it doesnt just typr "hyperdrug" in and it should come up!

The reason the store can't sell a wormer to you is probably because their SQP has left or is off sick. It takes time and costs a lot to train up new people. The rules have been tightened recently as wormers are now 'prescription only' meds.

If your horse has itchy bum he may have pinworm. You could worm with Equest now anyway, regardless of worm count, to treat any encysted worms. As these aren't mature they obviously don't lay any eggs to show in a count.

Wormers-direct are very good and you will get excellent advice from Steve. Just google it.
