Hey guys!
Some of you may know that I'm making my own Ascot hat!
I'm using taxidermy crow wings, which I'm going to attach onto a base, and the base attached to a headband.
I have a slight problem.. I need some sort of "wedge" to sit under the wings to hold them at the angle I want them to stay at. They will be attached to the middle of the base (which is a shallow bowl type shape) but I need something to sit in the base underneath the wings to keep them at an angle.
I need the "wedge" to be something I can either paint black or is already black, not too heavy and will hold the wings at the correct angle. I was thinking perhaps a makeup sponge cut into shape? But not sure if that will be sturdy enough!
I'm not sure if that makes any sense so I'm going to post some pics!
And under here is where I would need something to help hold the wings in position..
Hopefully that makes some kind of sense!
