Well my thighs that is. Took new TB out today and asked OH to take a few pics so I could see how he looked. All was well until I noticed my thunder thighs! It doesnt help that Horse is very fine and needs weight on and topline building, and his delicate long limbs just made me look even chunkier. Must do something about it!!!

Ahh - you have my sympathy - been there! You have an idea in your head what you look like on your horse but more often than not the video footage doesnt quite match it! Anyway - isnt it 10lbs the camera adds - so thats 5lbs per thigh.....!

^^ This is sooo true! Lol! Always feel like I'm riding so well - I've told OH to not video me know - I'd rather be happy in my ignorance! Lol!

We need to bring back the medieval style riding dresses that cover most of the horse too - no sign of thunder thighs under one of those (and would save us needing separate exercise sheets for the horse)!

I fell your pain , I can safely say that the best thing about owning Clydesdale / welsh D cross was. I knew his bum was bigger than mine .
It however was not enough to convert me to cobs so I am back on TB's now mines a big substantial one though but I not convinced his bum is bigger than mine .

Ha Ha, I know how you feel. Since hurting my back I have crept 3 stone on in weight. Jay is a breedy horse (Selle Francais X Irish Sport) but is beautifully made and carries the extra weight with no complaints.

jods the same colour as the saddle are the way to go, my thighs don't show up in pictures anywhere near as much! however i did find the pink wellies in the pic my OH took of me highlighted my awful lower leg position a bit too much!
