Hi everyone just incase anyone would find this interesting â¤. . Our yard in ashburton got the honour of marching with the armistice day parade with our horses and the official laying of a wreath in their honour xx
WOW that's amazing. I have a friend and her hubby knocked up some old horseshoes into a poppy-shaped flower, and painted it purple for their local armistice service, she also took her horse.
We always have an event to mark Armistice here in my (small) village; I did think to do one of my horses up and take them along; BUT, there is usually a real-life Piper with bagpipes.......... dunno what my youngster would think about that!! Could've be interesting........ :-O - so decided discretion was the better part of valour and left Neds at home.
