Ashford horse sales

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone could let me know if i brought a horse from the sales, are there avaliable people with trailers/boxes to hire to bring them home?

There are usually people around who will transport for you, at a price. I can't go there, too soft hearted, I end up feeling sorry for some poor beastie and weeping cos I can't bring him home

They often put calls out for transport, I would think if people sell their horse and are taking an empty box home they may be willing to give a lift to someone going their way if fuel money was offered.

Yes I've been a few times, usually for tack and rugs which can be real bargains. Tend to stay away from the pony ring but yes there are people there you could hire for transport.

just be careful what you buy, do you nto have a friend that can transport you home if you get something?

i have not been to one yet, may go just to look in Aug.. i do have a friend who can transport if i need her. however its always good to have a back up plan
