Basically I need advice please. I have a really super 16.2hh, IDxTB, who is a gentleman - good allrounder, BD points, large jump, loves hacking, well-schooled, a dream to ride etc.. I currently have two sharers but one is leaving as she is moving away. I have readvertised for another sharer but so far I have had no replies whatsoever. We live in East Sussex so I cannot believe I cannot find anyone to ride my boy but .... Last night my sharer who is moving away said that she is looking for another horse to share but cannot find one like my boy and she said she wish she could take my horse with her (it was a flyaway comment with no real meaning) but now I'm thinking because I cannot find a sharer should I ask her to take my horse with her for 6 months to a year loan. She's a super girl and loves my horse and I completely trust her to look after my horse. I have two young children and not working hence why I have two other girls riding my horse to help with exercise and cost (he is on part livery a few minutes from me). We have some land at home but not enough (just under two acres) and my horse cannot live out (would get too fat) and we cannot afford just yet to put a stable up. My parents live nearby and have a 4 acre field but again same applies, no stable yet. I know it's hard for you all to look at this closely and give me advice, but on what I've written above, what would you do?

Thanks

I'd bite her hand off if she was genuinly interested.

In fact - in your position I'd be inclined to sell him to her. What price a wonderful home?????? Priceless.

Maybe a oan would be a good idea then, if you trust her completely and think its the best thing for everyone
