assaulted by farmer over bridleway

A wagon full of beer,cigars and pork pies would not have made a jot of diffrence to this nutcase! i would like to point out i was very polite and never shouted got abusive or sat upon my horse with anything other than good manners!
 
The path concerned runs alongside a golf course, I myself have been riding it for years. Kent county council last year placed notices along it prohibiting riding 'no rights for horses'. our yard attended a meeting with the bridleways officer who tells us that it is in fact because the KCC canot afford to maintain the path for riders, although as far as I can see there is little or no maintenance required. The notices just seem to give licence to those selfisgh and narrowminded people who think that they are the only ones who have a right to enjoy the outdoors!I say to them, get a life.
