Only ask as I've advertised that I have a couple of DIY spaces and someone has come today to look and has asked if I could do assisted livery a couple of days a week. So, if you wouldnt mind, could you please let me know what 'extras' are available to you, what are you charged for them and also do you have a daily rate for I supposed what would be full livery for the day (ie turn out, bring in, rug change, give feed, much out and possibly hose legs (on muddy days) and a quick groom). Thanks in advance!
 
some assisted is just turn out in the morning and others i've seen are muck outs, turn outs and bring ins during the week oh and feed! They all seem to vary so much.
For assisted for me, I'd be looking for morning feed and turn out on working days.
As for money, it also varies greatly! I've seen it at £15 extra a month for turnout to £10 a week for turnout and muck out.

DIY is £30 a week...includes just stable and grazing and use of school...

Then with included straw bedding, hay and hard feed, horse is fed am, rugs changed and turned out mon to friday. Tues and Thurs horse is mucked out and rugs changed/checked over etc in evening too...£60 a week

I think most places charge about £4 for a muck out, £2 for grooming/feet etc, £2 for making and giving feed, £1 per turnout or bring in? and £1/£2 for changing rugs? Dunnooo depends really.

£1 per bring in or turnout which includes rugs if needed plus a quick squirt with a hose if muddy feet in the winter. Nets and feeds are put in free if left ready.

(I 'think' daily rate is £8 but it may have gone up as hay and straw are costing more this year.)
 
Assisted livery, including ad lib hayledge or hay and straw where I am in the South West costs £197 a month flat rate.

In summer that includes turn out or bring in in the morning, mon-fri but nothing in the afternoon or sat and sun. If they bring in for you, for example, they will put a feed in if it's left made up and take rugs off/change as necessary.

In winter it includes putting breakfast in, changing rugs, turn out, and bring in- but not rug changes PM or feeding PM unless you ask specifically.

All year round it includes bringing in and holding for vet or farrier if required too.

Extras are charged as follows, for weekends, bank holidays and weekdays when required:

Turn out OR bring in £3
Muck out £7
'Full livery' per day I *think* is also £7, which I've always thought a bit odd, but don't quote me on that!

There are also additional charges for lunging, riding or putting your horse on the horse walker, but I don't use any of those services, so can't tell you what the charges are!

In the winter at our yard the person that does extras I think charges £9 for full care (full muck out, haylage, water, feet wash/pick out, change of rugs, feed) per day (turnout and bring in in the winter is included in our livery charges). If you have less items off that list - it's about £6 and if it's just things like a rug change or a feet pick out or feed in etc they're about 50p-£1 an item.
 
£1.50 either bring in or turn out
50p a rug change
£2.50 a skip out £3.50 a muck out
50p a haynet and a bucket of feed chucked over the door
£3 to stand with farrier or vet

No grooming is offered as an extra.

All prices above are doubled at a weekend and your still charged if you cancel without 24hrs notice!!!
 
50p per feed (net and bucket feed) put in
£1 per turnout/bring in, so £2 if turned out and brought in, but no extra charge for boots/rugs changing etc
£3 per muck out/skip out
£5 per day if on full livery for a day (eg feed, turn out, muck out, bring in and feed again etc)

DIY is £27.50 pw inc haylage
