Aston (2) - chances of balloting?

What do you think the chances are of Aston (2) balloting? There are over 270 in the Intro and just shy of 290 in the Novice. Seems like there has been a flood ('scuse the pun) of entries due to all the cancellations around here...

Hoping not high!!!! But probably will be a few.,...they will run a wait list though I think!

I'm having exactily the same thoughts, esp as I only managed to do my entry this am!! But remember there is a whole day devoted to the Novice and Intro, with the option of a section doing day b4 dressage. They can possibly accommodate 7 (?) sections of about 45 entries a day....am I sounding optimistic!!! I don't think they will ballot, Aston try hard not too so fingers crossed!!!

I know Aston don't usually like to ballot - that's why I didn't use my sticker (blooming glad I used it for Ascott though

).
However, I didn't count on the fact that everything would be cancelled in June because of rain!

I'm doing the IRF that I was supposed to do at Milton Keynes last wkend - the plan was that that would be my 'get going' event and then PN at Buckminster next wkend...so much for plans!! Now doing Buckminster PN, then hopefully fingers crossed PN at Ascott (if I ever get off the wait list...optimism again...there seem to be less PN on the wait list than when it was first put up!! Fingers crossed there), then my IRF!! Its been a bizarre year really, got married in May so was banned fromXC, so entered MK and the damn weather has it in for me so seem to have a backward plan now!!!! May do a training event after IRF....
