This time last week it was so warm, well it was at Ascot on saturday.
Such a shame, Nigel will be annoyed, mainly because ppl have to work on wednesday NOT everyone will be able to go along to watch.
If im around i may pop over.
Yet another IRF canceled, tho they are running NRF on wednesday.

My friend is going through the same thing.
MKEC first was canceled then she was entered for ascot last week, but horse was off for a few weeks with a sore back so only contested the dressage. Now looking forward to sunday and guess what CANCELED.
I feel so sorry for everyone. Course now we are going to be heading into autumn season and everywhere balloting.
I see West Wilts are running an extra day to accommodate. Perhaps Aston will run an extra day later in the season too?

Yeah he is going to have a 2wk holiday now, he has worked hard on the run up to this weekend and the plan was for him to have a 2wk break anyway s he hasnt had time off for ages, then come back in for Aston (3) or Eland, then the september events.

Does anyone know if they will hold a section with advanced dressage on the 25th or will it be only SJ, XC if that makes sense.

Trust me none of you are more upset than nigel as he supported Intro from the beginning and told me that 'other courses shouldnt be stuck up about itbecause the support of the Intro riders is what pays for the advanced course'. he would be running if he possibly could.

I've just got back from a week of meetings in Sussex to read this and am now totally depressed, esp after spending 7hrs trying to get home on the bl**dy public transport!! Aaaaargh, entered MK IRF, which was cancelled, then Ascott and didn't get off wait list, then Aston IRF. Can't go to West Wilts as more mtgs next wk so think I'm going to write it off....do you think they do wild cards??!!!

Still haven't managed a run this year, what a waste of money! Rant over, not blaming venue, just damn weather!!

If someone dumped a load of portables on the next door golf course to our yard in the middle of the night and you all showed up really early in the morning we could run an event on firm ground from our yard in Herts!
