Do Aston always do SJ on the surface if the ground is hard??
Need a crystal ball to decided if I should enter Aston (2) or Knaptoft??

We're entered for Knaptoft, fingers crossed it's not like concrete. Ran there last year and legs were fine after.

We ran at Knaptoft, legs were fine after but the showjumps werent

we had nine down clear XC and sound as a pound!!

In the past it was always on grass, so far this year they have always done it on a surface which was to preserve the grass for the summer BE's, but then Nigel said it worked really well doing it in the arena so I think they might do for July, I can ask for definite for you tomorrow.

Aww bless, My girlie did a double clear

but the SJ was heart-stopping! She had a nose-bleed too and was pounced on by the vets at the XC finish! She's entered in the intermediate this time

I hope she's ready for it by then!

I was watched all the way round the XC as normally I would have been eliminated but it was FEI rules!! I was terrified i was going to mess up!!

Don't know what day you are going but they are using the arena for the advanced dressage on the Friday.
