Aston - what is the ground like?

Just wondering what the ground will be like after all this rain - meant to be running tomorrow afternoon.

Also does anyone know if the SJ is meant to be on a surface all weekend?

Same - getting a bit worried it will be like a bog by tomorrow...

SJ has beeb on a surface so far this week.

ALW drains well, We ran there twice last year in the rain/after heavy rain and it was ok.

we are there tomorrow too

I have not been but William FP says on his website that he didnt run some of his horses due to the hard, so i wouldnt worry about a bog.

I will be amazed if it is a bog as the ground was hard on Thursday - it will probably be perfect going!

I've just got back, the ground was very good reallly. Showjumping was on a surface today so i presume that it will be tomorrow.

I've just got back too and thought the ground was pretty good today (and went xc at about 6.00) a little cut up in places but after 3 days that is to be expected i suppose.
